I have recently been studying still life painting in the classic chiaroscuro style which means painting beautiful luminous still lifes with light emerging from mysterious shadow.
I enjoy painting and drawing animals. I have done a lot of commissions recently in colored pencil commemorating pets who have passed away.
I really enjoy getting outdoors and painting what is in front of me. I have traveled all over competing in plein air paint outs. I love the challenge and the comradery of other artists.
